Florida H.O.A. Gate Cameras – A New Necessity

Central Florida area homeowner’s associations are re-investing in their neighborhoods in all new ways. It seems that in the past, cameras that monitor activity at the electronic gates of these Florida properties was a privilege for the wealthier subdivisions. Today, we’re finding the trend of having digital surveillance cameras at the gate house or electronic tele-entry a necessity like never before. For the first time, we’re seeing IP digital license plate cameras deployed in the field to track users whom are coming and going. Homeowners want to know who is calling them from the tele-entry and are more suspicious of late night delivery drivers.

Amazon now has a contract with the United States Postal Service to deliver Amazon prime packages on Sunday – a new phenomenon that still causes the eyebrow raise of homeowners. We’re not used to seeing mail delivered on Sunday and with all the package theft going on, one would grow mighty suspicious seeing a delivery driver in their neighborhood on a Sunday evening.
